HRH Prog VI Festival, Hafan Y Mor, Pwllheli (Wales), 17 November 2017

Caravan frontman and founder member Pye Hastings looks like he’s just come in after a couple of rounds on the local Fairways golf range (with “Golf Girl”?) having carefully parked his Bimmer.
But judging by Geoffrey Richardson’s assertion that the band had not always been fully paid over the years (in his intro to ‘Fingers In The Till’) perhaps unlikely.

In 2018, Jethro Tull and Caravan celebrate 50 years since their first sorties at London’s Marquee Club.
Of course Tull had the wider international success but Caravan have retained their enduring popularity with the prog cognescenti.
‘In The Land Of The Grey and Pink’ went down particularly well tonight, whilst Jan Schelhaas’ glorious and evocative keyboard work swept through the closing number ‘Nine Feet Underground’.
