REVIEWS FROM VARIOUS SOURCES Great CD of mellow rock from 2 ace musicians Some great songs, some new, some not, mainly written by Jim Leverton. Old Heaven Hill - features a rolling barrell house piano reminiscent of Fats Domino. Bright New Way - Jim wrote & performed with Fat Mattress in the 1960's and is still a lovely song. This is indeed a truly fine example of classical/Rock fusion from 2 musicians who have at the very top of their respective fields for over 30 years. Geoffrey (Cafe Penguin Orchestra, Caravan) provides the classical feel while Jim (legendary Steve Marriott sideman, Fat Mattress, Rory Gallagher band)provides vocals/ guitar/ keyboards. The resulting feel is really enjoyable listen, mixing well structured ballads mixed with upbeat tracks covering a variety of styles.
